Project Summary
This course was designed for Subway to teach new Sandwich Artists the fundamentals of building a great sandwich while giving them opportunities to practice key skills they will use in the restaurant. The experience introduces learners to sandwich formulas, proper ingredient portions, build order, and the resources available to support them on the job.
I developed the course in Articulate Storyline, using realistic restaurant visuals, audio narration, closed captions, on-screen guidance, and interactive activities to create an accessible and engaging learning experience. Rather than relying on traditional click-through content, learners actively explore information and apply what they learn throughout the course.
Project Summary
The Subway Foundation introduces new Sandwich Artists to the essential knowledge they need from Day 1, including their role, the SubWAY! Experience, brand standards, uniform expectations, and safety and security.
I designed the course with interactive scenarios, knowledge checks, custom visuals, and real restaurant video to give learners opportunities to apply what they’re learning instead of simply reading about it. I also filmed several scenes using a DJI Osmo Pocket camera and tripod and narrated select videos to create a more authentic and engaging learning experience.
